The 3rd annual Fuse event organized by Orion Advisor Services kick off tomorrow in Park City, Utah. The event which will run through the weekend features over 30 technology firms that serve the registered investment adviser (RIA) industry coming together to collaborate on new innovative products and integrations. RIA in a Box returns to Orion Fuse Event to Enhance RIA Compliance Software
At last year’s event, our new compliance integration between Orion and our software platform, MyRIACompliance®, was fortunate enough to win the “Best in Show Award.” The integration which was initially developed at last year’s Fuse event retrieves firm-specific data from Orion’s system in order to help ensure that an RIA firm is registered in the proper jurisdictions and that the firm’s Form ADV information is accurate. The integration is available at no additional charge to joint Orion and RIA in a Box clients.
While matching last year’s unexpected success will be difficult especially given the impressive list of other firms in attendance, we are very excited to return this year with the goal of expanding on the present integration with Orion. One of the key themes of this year’s event is the new Orion notification system which allows various partners integrated with the Orion system to all share notifications through one central platform so that a mutual investment advisory firm client no longer has to log into multiple systems.
At the event, we’ll be exploring ways to integrate our MyRIACompliance® system notifications into the centralized system and will also attempt to tackle a more audacious project related to automated employee trade monitoring and review capabilities.
