The program provides a step-by-step examination of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and related state and federal regulations, guidance for building a strong compliance program and highlights best practices that can immediately be implemented at firms.

Requirements for the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional program

IACCP® designees are required to complete the following courses and pass the IACCP® designation exam, after which, you can maintain your designee status by completing yearly continuing education coursework.

Advisers Act (Six Required Courses)

  • AA02: Books and Records Requirements for Investment Advisers.

  • AA05: Selected Advisers Act Anti-Fraud Rules: Custody, Political Contributions, Solicitors and Proxy Voting Requirements.
  • AA06: Compliance Program Rules and Strategies for Managing the Annual Review.

Disclosure (Three Required Courses)

  • DIS01: Form ADV Part 1: Annual Updating Amendment and More.
  • DIS02: Form ADV Part 2 and 3: Identifying and Disclosing Conflicts.
  • DIS03: Investment Adviser Performance and Advertising.

Trading (Three Required Courses)

Skills (One Required Course)

Additional Requirements

  • Two years of work experience.
  • Submission of Ethics commitment and assessment.
  • Certifying IACCP® Examination.
