Are you taking a licensing exam before the end of 2017?
This includes any FINRA exam:
- Series 6
- Series 7
- Principal exams
And NASAA exams:
- Series 63
- Series 65
- Series 66
If So, We Have News You Can Use:
Beginning January 1, 2018, Prometric will be the exclusive test facility for FINRA and FINRA client exams. In other words, December 31, 2017 will be the last day candidates may test at Pearson VUE facilities.
Why Is This Important?
Candidates in larger urban areas with many testing locations may not feel the difference. However, location choices and travel distances for candidates in smaller or remote communities might change significantly.
How Will You Feel This Transition?
From now through early December, candidates who open a 30-day window for an initial or subsequent exam attempt may schedule their exams at any Prometric or Pearson VUE location. Thereafter, candidates must choose a Prometric location.
