Our Recent Release: The MyRIACompliance Mobile App
Given the current uncertainties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, RIA firms are finding that it is crucial to remain compliant with the evolving regulatory requirements during these difficult times. As the industry evolves, advisors are looking for new ways to tackle the tough task of remaining compliant regardless of their work environment. To assist RIA firms with this difficult task, RIA in a Box has released it’s MyRIACompliance mobile app. The MyRIACompliance app is designed to empower advisors to manage compliance activities and training in the palm of their hand. The app is available in the Apple and Android app stores. As mobile apps continue to become a key component of advisor workflows, the MyRIACompliance app will play a vital role in helping RIA firms meet constantly changing regulatory compliance requirements.
Key Features:
- Compliance Calendar/To-Do List
- Through the MyRIACompliance app, advisors will now have their compliance calendar and to-do list located right at their finger tips. This feature can be viewed in two formats: 1) a calendar view that shows users the entire month of tasks or 2) a checklist view of immediate items that need to be completed. The compliance calendar is a great asset as it allows advisors to remain up to date with compliance items and approaching deadlines. Users will be able to click on the compliance items within the calendar to learn more about that specific task. After reviewing the task the user can then mark it as complete or set a reminder to receive push notifications and complete at a later time.
- Videos
- The MyRIACompliance app comes equipped with a module for mobile compliance and cybersecurity training videos. Advisors that use RIA in a Box’s cybersecurity platform will be able to view monthly training videos on the mobile app. A very unique feature on the app that goes hand in hand with the training videos are the quizzes that are available. These quizzes are comprised of a few questions that highlight the main lessons of the training videos. This is a great tool firms can use to educate their advisors on cybersecurity best practices.
