This week, RIA in a Box announced its partnership with LinkedIn to simplify the communications review process and enhance the MyRIACompliance Communications Archiving and Review solution for registered investment advisers (RIA).
Firms and their advisers can now connect their LinkedIn accounts to MyRIACompliance to streamline the entire communications archiving and review process. This solution enhancement ensures the regulatory requirements for social media use are met and mitigates risk for the firm.
RIA in a box is thrilled to announce the new compliance partnership, enabling advisers to meet the social media archiving requirements while using LinkedIn’s free and paid products. All users of the Communications Archiving and Review solution can self-manage their LinkedIn account connections and streamline the archiving and reviewing processes.
The Communications Archiving and Review solution allows RIAs to store, review and filter communications from their website, email and social media within the same platform where they conduct their compliance program. With the addition of LinkedIn, MyRIACompliance now includes firm and individual communications from the major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
The Advisers Act Rule 204-2 (Books and Records Rule) and Advisers Act Rule 206(4)-7 require all RIA firms to monitor and maintain records of firm and individual social media communications.
